When confronted on the internet, without the ability to collect funds, a possible choice is to hire a data gathering company, to define the complete sequences involving hits, visits, and actual sales. Whereas, it may be too expensive, or too time consuming, to hire a lawyer, it is appropriate to arm yourself with security, storage, and hopefully two A+++ data "observatories," if you will, to prove without question that your results are real. I work very hard to keep all my affiliations observed, and when the data came into question, the companies I took to court, and felt the need to drop, dealt with my accurate results. I've taken some companies to court, and asked them to stay on, because I felt their participation could be rectified. Since then my major representative affiliate stations have compared results, without me having to be case driven. This all took some doing, but I believed in my website, and other projects, and I had the sophistication to show proper results. For the most part I was fair, meaning even to the companies I dropped, by taking what was mine, and showing them their remaining profits, as I closed the relationship for good. I'm hoping for another good season, and will rectify whatever needs to be done.
